Volker Bertelmann, better known as Haushcka, is an internationally acclaimed pianist, composer and experimental musician. The essence of his work lies in the connection between music and the inner self.
The challenge was to visually translate Hauschka's Philanthropy album concept, centred on the origin of life and love, into a cohesive design system. It includes a poster for his concert at the Phi Centre in Montreal and a vinyl sleeve for the album.
The project required diverse digital and manual skills to capture the album's message through colour, gradients, movement, composition, and space. Additionally, the 3D case for the vinyl extended the visual concept into an interesting, tangible form.
